Software Engineering is the cornerstone of our work. We are looking for a Web Developer with full-stack experience to join our team in Copenhagen.
The Opportunity:
Software Engineering at Dawn Health is at the core of everything we do. Within the first months of your employment, you will participate in training programs giving you the knowledge to develop digital health solutions. Digital Health is a rapidly growing industry within healthcare, and new regulatory frameworks in the EU and US continuously raises the bar for the safety and efficacy that can be demonstrated by such digital solutions.
As a Developer, you will get to work on products that help patients around the world and collaborate with other passionate team members and other disciplines to bring the most intuitive and useful digital therapies and apps to life.
You will get the chance to work within our Platform Team, architecting and building high quality reusable components and SDKs powering digital health products being developed in our Product Teams, being used by patients and doctors around the world.
About You:
- You are passionate about building great products and platforms that have a real impact on people's lives
- You have good analytical abilities and can break down complex problems
- You have good communication skills and can work well in a team
- You have a structured approach and understand the importance of high-quality documentation, being able to document things such as System Design, Architecture and Configurations
- You have at least 5 years of relevant experience with web / frontend development, including some experience with backend development
- Professional proficiency in English (company language)
The Requirements:
Web / Frontend Development
- Strong proficiency in modern Javascript (ES6+) development and Typescript
- Strong experience with React, NextJS and HTML5 semantics and accessibility
- Strong proficiency in CSS3 and working with responsive design and mobile optimization
- Experience with integration and consumption of REST APIs in frontend applications.
- Experience with git and git flows
- Experience with automated tests (unit, integration, UI)
- Knowledge of SOLID principles
Backend Development
- Experience working within the .NET ecosystem and C# in production environments
- Proven ability to design and implement secure, scalable RESTful APIs
- Experience with Entity Framework Core
- Strong understanding of SOLID principles and common design patterns (e.g. Clean Architecture, Repository, Service Layer, CQRS where appropriate)
- Solid experience with Git and established branching strategies
- Experience working with SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL
- Strong knowledge of secure coding practices (input validation, encryption, access control, audit logs)
Bonus Points:
- Experience with Clean architecture
- Experience working in the Life Science industry or in similar regulated industries
