Your new position
Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development, this role supports the evaluation and execution of partnership opportunities across licensing, co-development, and collaborations. The position blends market research, financial analysis, and cross-functional coordination to advance high-impact deals. You will work closely with R&D, Commercial, Legal, and Finance to shape data-driven recommendations and prepare leadership materials. The role also offers exposure to external partnering forums and a dynamic landscape of innovation.
We offer exciting responsibilities:
- Conduct market and competitive research to support BD opportunity assessment.
- Assist in building financial models, presentations, and valuation analyses for licensing and partnership opportunities.
- Coordinate cross-functional due diligence efforts with internal subject matter experts.
- Help prepare materials for internal stakeholder discussions and leadership briefings.
- Maintain databases, pipeline trackers, and BD dashboards to support decision-making.
- Attend select external partnering conferences and meetings with prospective collaborators.
Your profile
As a person you have a collaborative and analytical mindset, with strong attention to detail and comfort working in an environment where things move fast. You are able to translate complex information into clear insights and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. You are curious about drug development and motivated by external innovation and strategic partnerships. It is natural for you to be proactive, well-organized, and eager to learn.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
- A couple of years of experience in biotech/pharma, management consulting, investment banking, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong interest in drug development, business strategy, and external innovation.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and data tools; familiarity with valuation concepts is a plus.
- Strong English communication skills
