Your new position
As Manager, Strategy you will be a key supporting partner helping to drive clarity, structure, and analytical rigor across Zealand’s R&D and portfolio processes. The role focuses on building frameworks, preparing strategic analyses, and enabling smooth governance and decision-making. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented position suited to someone looking to develop strategy skills by working closely with leadership and across scientific and corporate teams.

- Support strategic priorities by shaping and implementing plans with the Head of Strategy
- Build and maintain analytical and strategic frameworks (e.g., prioritization models, decision criteria, templates)
- Conduct structured analyses to inform strategic questions, option assessments, and long-range planning
- Prepare clear, well-organized materials for leadership, governance forums, and cross-functional meetings
- Ensure decision readiness by gathering, structuring, and validating cross-functional inputs; support light portfolio operations to keep strategy, planning, and execution aligned
Your profile
An organized, analytical contributor who creates clarity through strong execution, framework building, and high-quality analysis. Enjoys collaborating across functions, communicates complex information clearly, and develops strategic skills in partnership with senior leaders. Can build trust and influence through quality work, supporting alignment across teams.
- Relevant degree (MBA, MS, MSc, PhD, or similar in life sciences, business, or analytics)
- Experience in consulting, biotech/pharma, corporate strategy, or strategic operations
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data to structure problems and develop recommendations
- Solid communication and presentation skills focused on clarity and structure
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to engage across R&D, Clinical, and Finance
Your new team
You will join the Strategy department within Zealand Pharma, working closely with colleagues across R&D, Clinical, Finance, and other stakeholders. The team focuses on strategic planning, governance preparation, decision support, and enabling operational excellence. This role reports to the Head of Strategy.
