We are looking for an ambitious and talented Laboratory Specialist to join our laboratory team in a fast-paced company.
The role
As our new Laboratory Specialist, you will be joining the QC team responsible for testing our equipment before release.
The team consists of QA/QC Director, QC Manager, 1 Sr. laboratory technician and 2 student helpers. The new role will be playing a critical part in implementing our new instrument, Ethica M.

Key responsibilities
Plan and perform laboratory test in both R&D and QC
- Release test of instruments and consumables
- Cells and solutions for R&D Scientist
- Support R&D in assay run on Sophion patch clamping equipment
Product responsible for our new product Ethica M
- QC work on consumables
- Customer test work
- Support R&D in assay run
- Write procedures for Laboratory, QC and QA
- Support in resolving non conformances and participate in root cause analysis
- Participating in daily laboratory tasks
Profile & key qualifications
- Educated Laboratory technician.
- Experience working in a lab with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience (no experience is required for use of automated measuring instruments, training will be provided).
- Great interest and willingness to learn new techniques and instruments
- Structured and organized.
- Highly driven and motivated work ethic.
- Ability to work independently.
- A team player who thrives in a dynamic environment, capable of managing multiple activities simultaneously while
- maintaining an overview.
- Service-minded, enthusiastic, and enjoys solving complex problems with a general technical flair and a "can do, will
- do" mindset.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- Willing to assist colleagues and comfortable asking for help when needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
