We’re looking for a Student Assistant for Events & Activation to join our Marketing team, where you’ll be part of shaping and growing the MATR brand through events, tastings, and partnerships.
About MATR Foods
MATR Foods is a Danish food tech start-up on a mission to build a tastier, healthier and more sustainable future by changing the way we eat, through next generation fermented plant-based products. At MATR, we want to start a positive movement that brings people together around food that’s truly fit for the future.
We utilize nature’s own fungi fermentation to unify vegetables and legumes into natural and craveable food, for food lovers, by food lovers. We launched our first products in 2023 with great demand by consumers and customers, and now we’re entering the next stage of our journey with a full-scale production in our first of a kind factory build in Denmark and internationalization to Germany & Switzerland.
What you’ll be doing
As a Student Assistant in Marketing, you will join a very hands-on marketing team, that develops the MATR brand activities and executes in close collaboration with customers, creative partners and the entire team across functions. Your key responsibilities include:
- Support in coordinating events, including consumer samplings, B2B trade fairs, and internal company gatherings
- Participate in setting up, hosting, and managing event days
- Assist in collecting feedback, evaluating success, and summarizing learnings
- Work closely with the sales and marketing team to align event activities with campaigns and product launches as well as our external commercial and brand partners
- Ad hoc project management, business analysis and practical support
What you’re bringing
We imagine you being a student in food or nutrition sciences, event management, sustainability, marketing, communications, or similar, with an interest in food innovation. We hope you have some experience in running events and a couple of year left in your studies. We count on you being outgoing, independent and ready to proactively take lead your projects. English proficiency is a requirement and it would be great with Danish proficiency at a conversational and written level.
