What you'll be doing
As our Controller - Group Functions & Innovation CAPEX, you'll partner closely with our Group Functions and Innovation teams, becoming their go-to person for all things Opex and Capex.
This is not just a reporting role—it's about owning processes, driving insights, and supporting decision-making at scale.
Key responsibilities:
- Control & Track Spend: Lead financial planning and monitoring of Opex (Group Functions) and Capex (Group-wide Innovation), ensuring accurate tracking and alignment with budget
- Drive Reporting Excellence: Deliver timely and accurate financial reports, with a focus on clarity, compliance, and insight
- Enable Better Forecasting: Own budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing data-driven input and analysis
- Boost Collaboration: Act as a business partner to cross-functional stakeholders—including Finance, Digital, Innovation, and more
- Spot and Solve: Use data to uncover trends, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements
- Support Compliance: Ensure financial controls are in place and adhered to, supporting our growth with governance
Requirements
We're looking for someone proactive, hands-on, and eager to grow—someone who thrives in fast-paced, constantly evolving environments and who brings both financial acumen and business curiosity.
You'll likely bring:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- 2-5 years' experience in a finance or controlling role (ideally in FMCG, pharma, or other fast-moving industries)
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with financial systems
- A structured mindset with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Great communication skills—you'll be liaising with both finance and non-finance teams
- A positive, collaborative mindset and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- A self-starter attitude—willing to take ownership, ask questions, and push things forward
