Evaxion is a clinical-stage TechBio company specializing in developing AI-Immunology™ powered vaccines. Partnering with pharma and biotech is central to the Evaxion strategy and we are actively pursuing a multi-partner approach. In September 2024, we entered into a transformative agreement with MSD, and we are seeing strong interest in both our platform and pipeline from pharma and biotech.
To further enhance our business development efforts, we now seek a driven and experienced business development associate. The successful candidate will be an integrated part of our business development efforts, and you will be working across the full range of business development activities - internally as well as externally.
Your role
Your main responsibilities will be to support and drive outreach activities and develop compelling pitch materials for interested parties with focus on story-telling, primarily for our pipeline assets and new development projects. Further, you will take part in pitching ideas and receiving feedback from potential partners, as well as managing ongoing business development processes. Finally, you will be an integrated part of the deal-making teams.
Key responsibilities
- Support/drive outreach activities, including mapping of potential partners
- Manage ongoing business development processes
- Develop pitch material together with R&D and the Bioinformatics team
- Analysis of competitor space and ensuring we at all times, are on top of the partnering universe
- Organizing meetings and coordinating with team members
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience
- Business development experience
- An understanding of immunological mechanisms and vaccine development is an advantage
- Strategic mindset and independent
- A good presenter and communicator
- Proactive, motivated and self-driven
- Excellent relationship building skills
