Som en del af vores dynamiske team på knap 30 medarbejdere på Nørrebro får du en alsidig rolle i et internationalt miljø, hvor vi arbejder med banebrydende forskning og udvikling.
Dine primære arbejdsopgaver
- Generelle laboratorieopgaver såsom fremstilling og udportionering af reagenser, medier og buffere, modtagelse og registrering af prøver samt vedligeholdelse af laboratorieudstyr
- Cellebiologiske metoder, herunder dyrkning og vedligeholdelse af cellekulturer fra primære celler og cellelinjer, PBMC-oprensning og nedfrysning af celler
- Udførelse af laboratorieanalyser såsom ELISpot, PCR, DNA/RNA-oprensning og flowcytometri
- Kemikaliehåndtering, herunder opdatering af sikkerhedsdatablade og udarbejdelse af kemiske risikovurderinger
- Lagerstyring, herunder bestilling af varer og opfyldning af lagre
- Ajourføring af databaser såsom fryseroversigter og laboratoriejournaler
Vi forestiller os, at du
- Har erfaring med celledyrkning
- Har erfaring med sterilt arbejde
- Har en systematisk tilgang til kvalitetssikring og sikkerhed i laboratoriet
- Har gode IT-kundskaber og erfaring med Office-pakken
- Er komfortabel med engelsk i både skrift og tale, da vores daglige kommunikation foregår på engelsk

Biomedical Laboratory Scientist/Laboratory Technician for an exciting R&D position global biotech company
Are you passionate about laboratory work and eager to be part of an innovative, global biotech company? IO Biotech is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Biomedical Laboratory Scientist or laboratory technician to join our R&D department in Copenhagen. This is a temporary position for six months, with the possibility of extension.
As part of our dynamic team of nearly 30 employees in Nørrebro, you will have a versatile role in an international environment, working with groundbreaking research and development.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and aliquoting of reagents, media, and buffers
- Receipt and registration of samples, as well as maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Culturing and maintenance of cell cultures from primary cells and cell lines, PBMC isolation, and cryopreservation of cells
- Conducting laboratory analyses, including ELISpot, PCR, DNA/RNA purification, and flow cytometry
- Chemical handling, including updating safety data sheets and conducting chemical risk assessments
- Inventory management, including ordering and restocking laboratory supplies
- Updating databases such as freezer inventories and laboratory records
Expected Qualifications
- Have experience with cell culture
- Have experience with sterile techniques
- Have a systematic approach to quality assurance and laboratory safety
- Have strong IT skills and experience with the Microsoft Office suite
- Are comfortable communicating in English, both written and spoken, as English is our daily working language
