Are you an engaged communicator with a passion for Life Science? The HALRIC project team is looking for a dedicated Communication Manager to lead and manage communication activities within our dynamic 21-partner consortium.
The role
We are seeking a Communication Manager for 22-25 hours per week in a project-based position lasting up to 14 months. You will play a key role in managing internal and external communications, supporting branding efforts, and ensuring effective dissemination of the project’s activities and outcomes.
As part of the management team, you will work closely with the Project Director at Lund University, the Head of Project Operations, and the Head of Finance at Medicon Valley Alliance (MVA) in Copenhagen. Your work will contribute directly to the success of this ambitious international collaboration.
Key responsibilities
Communication:
- Implement and manage HALRIC’s communication strategy, as defined in the 3-year communication plan (2023-26).
- Develop and manage content for newsletters, the project website (WordPress), and social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
- Translate pilot project abstracts into engaging descriptions and feature them on halric.eu and social media.
- Provide communication support to project partners, including developing branding materials such as roll-ups, brochures, and graphics.
Events Management:
- Plan and execute meetings, events, conferences, and webinars in collaboration with the Head of Project Operations. This includes logistics, program development, speaker coordination, and event marketing.
General:
- In close collaboration with other colleagues, secure documentation of work processes, including ongoing follow-up and documentation of results to support the reporting to EU-Interreg ÖKS.
- Provide ad hoc support to the MVA secretariat as needed.
Required qualifications
- A relevant academic degree.
- Proven experience in executing communication strategies, including content creation for websites and social media.
- Experience in coordinating cross-disciplinary teamwork is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Swedish and/or Danish is advantageous.
- Experience with living, working, or studying in Denmark and Sweden is an additional advantage.
- EU citizenship or a valid work permit in Denmark is required.
