The Lundbeck Foundation is looking for a STUDENT ASSISTANT for our online educational platform, Neurotorium!
Your team
You will join the Neurotorium team, where you will be one of six colleagues with backgrounds in neuroscience, psychology, and digital communications, and you will have someone to turn to whenever you need guidance.
You will also be part of the Lundbeck Foundation, a workplace of around 60 colleagues working across grants, investments, ownerships and corporate functions, where we value curiosity, openness and helping each other out.
At Neurotorium, our mission is to improve awareness and knowledge of the brain and its diseases.
We provide expert-developed and freely available online educational content created for clinicians, educators, and all who are interested in learning more about the brain. All our educational material is developed, reviewed, and regularly updated by leading experts within the fields of psychiatry, neurology, and neuroscience.
Neurotorium.org is a non-commercial, non-profit initiative founded by the Lundbeck Foundation. The Lundbeck Foundation is an enterprise foundation whose purpose is “to create powerful ripple effects that bring discoveries to lives through investing actively in business and science at the frontiers of their fields”.
As a Student Assistant you are expected to support the development and publication of new materials for Neurotorium and take part in website optimisation and improving the discoverability of Neurotorium.
What you will do:
- Create high-quality images and illustrations for the Neurotorium website and for digital communications to be shared on social media and newsletters
- Draft social media posts, as well as newsletters, following the guidance of the Neurotorium team
- Plan and co-ordinate digital materials and campaigns with the guidance of the Neurotorium team
- Upload materials to the website while considering SEO
- Assist with ad hoc tasks to support the day-to-day running and maintenance of Neurotorium.org
What we are looking for:
You have experience with:
- We imagine that you are currently enrolled in a higher education programme, either at bachelor’s or at master's level, within any field of study
- Fluent spoken and written English, strong copywriting skills
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and proactively contribute to new ideas
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in everyday work
Experience with:
- Graphic design (e.g., Canva, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
- Social media management and email marketing tools
It is a plus if you have:
- Familiarity with neuroscience, psychology, medicine, or health sciences
- Familiarity with WordPress or other website content management systems
- Video editing experience

You will work 14–16 hours a week, planned flexibly around your studies, at our office in Scherfigsvej. Here, you will get close to the latest research in neuroscience, psychiatry and neurology, while developing your skills in digital communication. And you will do it together with engaged colleagues who bring a wide range of expertise and backgrounds, and who are happy to share what they know.
