The Job
In close collaboration with the BII laboratory team, you will work with a wide variety of administrative and practical tasks and keep our laboratories running smoothly and safely while supporting groundbreaking life science innovations.
You Will Perform Laboratory Related Tasks Such As
- Bringing out cardboard and waste at the end of the day
- Filling up consumables at the end of the day
- Carry out laboratory cleaning and sanitation tasks
- Operating the dishwasher and autoclave and supporting related activities
- Preparing and maintaining the laboratories in a prime state to enable our projects to perform
- Encouraging users to maintain good and safe laboratory practices
The working hours are approximately 10-15 hours per week, preferably in the afternoons, and with flexibility to accommodate studies and exams. You have a flexible schedule and are available to work weekends.
Your Profile
To ensure continuity in the role, preference will be given to students with a minimum of two years remaining in their studies.
We are looking for a student assistant with laboratory service experience from a similar role or with a strong desire to learn. You are proficient in both spoken and written Danish and English and have a flair for the operation of laboratory equipment. You are independent and self-organizing in planning and execution of daily tasks. In addition, you have experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
