Your New Position
As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will provide expert legal guidance with a strong focus on contracts that underpin research, development, and external collaborations. You will drive high quality drafting and negotiation, ensure compliance, and support critical decisions across functions. The position offers broad exposure to stakeholders across R&D in a dynamic biotech setting. You will join R&D Legal, a department within Legal consisting of four skilled and committed lawyers, and you will be reporting to Head of R&D Legal.
We Offer Exciting Responsibilities
- Drafting and negotiating primarily Clinical Trial Agreements, CMO-agreements, MSA/CRO-agreements, but also a variety of other R&D-related agreements.
- Managing contracting processes to ensure compliance and meet key deadlines.
- Ensuring clinical trials, manufacturing processes, services etc. adhere to regulations.
- Identifying and mitigating legal risks associated with clinical trials, including adverse events.
In summary, you will ensure our clinical operations and contract handling are legally compliant, risk-managed, and efficiently executed, supporting our R&D and business objectives.
Your Profile
As a person you demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration abilities. You are detail-oriented, show high integrity, and are capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. It is natural to you to be a collaborative team player with a proactive, solution-oriented attitude and the ability to effectively navigate across all levels of the organization.
- A master’s degree in law.
- Minimum of 5 years in a legal role within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record in drafting and negotiating Clinical Trial Agreements, CMO-agreements, MSA/CRO-agreements, as well as other R&D-related agreements.
- Strong understanding of industry regulations, research and clinical development challenges as well as regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- Professional English skills
