Join Zealand Pharma’s Patient Safety organization in the newly established Safety Operations & Compliance team. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality safety data, regulatory compliance, and efficient safety operations across clinical programs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous process improvements in a respectful and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct safety case processing and ensure timely expedited and periodic reporting
- Perform and document literature surveillance for safety signals and case identification
- Represent Patient Safety in cross-functional project teams and regulatory interactions
- Support and participate in inspections/audits and contribute to responses and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Oversee vendors/contract research organizations (CROs) for pharmacovigilance deliverables and compliance
- Support signal management activities and contribute to aggregate safety reports
Candidate profile
- Degree in Nursing, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy, Human Biology, or similar life science field
- Documented training and hands-on experience in pharmacovigilance and clinical safety
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with case processing, regulatory reporting, and literature review
- Experience with safety databases and literature surveillance tools
- Good knowledge of major agencies’ drug safety and pharmacovigilance legislation and guidelines
- Strong proficiency in English
- Strong communication skills, high ethical standards, quality mindset, and a proactive, team-oriented approach
