At Emendo Project Consulting, our clients’ needs are growing—and so are we. We're looking for an experienced Project Director to join our team and drive impactful change across complex projects in pharma, manufacturing, and construction.
As a Project Director, you will lead major projects or programs, taking full ownership from initiation through completion. You’ll play a key leadership role in managing cross-functional teams and will often mentor more junior consultants, guiding them as they grow in their careers.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As Project Director, you’ll lead critical, high-value client engagements—often with multi-disciplinary teams and ambitious timelines. You will:
- Take full ownership of major projects or programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry standards.
- Serve as the primary liaison for executive stakeholders and ensure consistent communication across all levels.
- Provide strategic oversight in early design phases, risk assessment, execution planning, and qualification.
- Drive a culture of excellence, foresight, and adaptability within the project team.
WHO YOU ARE
You have a background as an engineer or hold a corresponding degree for example within the field of life science, mechanics, finance or production – but most importantly you are experienced project manager and are comfortable with many project management tools and terminologies. It is important that you hold knowledge or experience from the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or construction industries, as these are our primary competence areas.
You also:
- Bring 10+ years of project experience, including CAPEX-heavy, regulated environments.
- Excel at leading large-scale, complex projects and ensuring they are delivered “the right way.”
- Are passionate about leveraging and sharing your project knowledge.
- May bring a valuable professional network and an appetite for building new relationships.
- Communicate clearly and effectively in English—bonus points if you also speak Danish.
- Thrive in dynamic environments where no two days are the same.
- Have a special superpower, unique talent, or fascinating hobby—we can’t wait to hear about it!
Flexibility to work onsite with our customers is expected, as most of our work is conducted at client locations.
