At oasicare, we are committed to developing solutions that enhance the standard of care for women. Our first product is a single-unit device designed to reduce the risk of perineal tears, which we aim to market as a class I medical device. Currently, we are in the development stage and are running initial pilot tests at a Danish maternity ward.
The position
We are seeking a medical writer & scientific content specialist to help us position oasicare as a thought leader in the field of vaginal birth and maternal health. You will be responsible for developing high-quality, evidence-based content, including white papers, scientific articles, and commercial educational pieces.
This is a part-time position ideal for someone with a background in medical or scientific communication and a passion for improving women's health. Your work will inform clinicians, engage partners, and support marketing and investor-facing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Research and write white papers, clinical summaries, and scientific articles on topics related to childbirth, perineal trauma, pelvic floor health, and maternal care.
- Translate complex medical evidence into clear, engaging content for both clinical and commercial audiences.
- Collaborate with the marketing and R&D teams to develop educational materials, website copy, and articles that reflect oasicare’s mission and expertise.
- Monitor and interpret emerging clinical research and guidelines in obstetrics, gynecology, and women’s health.
- Support the creation of scientific slide decks, abstracts, and publications for conferences and journals.
- Ensure scientific integrity and proper referencing in all written materials.
Qualifications
- MSc or PhD in Life Sciences, Public Health, Medicine, Medical Communication, or a related field.
- Proven experience writing for peer-reviewed journals, white papers, or evidence-based marketing in healthcare or medtech.
- Strong understanding of scientific literature and the ability to synthesize findings into meaningful narratives.
- Excellent written English; the ability to write with clarity, precision, and tone appropriate to varied audiences.
- Prior experience in maternal health, gynecology, pelvic care, or medical devices is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, deadline-driven, and comfortable working independently in a startup environment.
