Student assistant to support the Planetary Health and Venture Creation Team - BioInnovation Institute

The BioInnovation Institute Foundation (BII) is an international non-profit foundation supported by the Novo Nordisk Foundation. Among other things, BII operates an incubator to accelerate world-class life science innovation that drives development of new solutions by early life science start-ups for the benefit of people and society.
The Job
In close collaboration with the Planetary Health Team, you will support their efforts within the Venture Creation Team with a wide variety of tasks, which will also give you the opportunity to meet and engage with the BII startups in our programs.
You will have the chance to learn from hands on experience within a vibrant culture of venture capital and startups on multifaceted tasks including:
- Supporting the Venture Creation Team, specifically the Planetary Health Team with general ad hoc administrative tasks, including assistance with PowerPoint presentations, as well as contacting and organizing with BII Startups
- Support the Planetary Health Team with PowerPoint presentations to external and internal stakeholders
- Drive smaller projects with focus on developing dashboards to analyse specific BII KPIs
- Coordinating and facilitating pitch meetings for BII startups and VCs
- Organize and execute events for the Planetary Health portfolio
Professional and Personal Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Is a 2nd or 3rd year Bachelor student or has just started a MA degree in Bio Science or in Business Management (innovation, business development, entrepreneurship, agricultural Science).
- Possesses strong communication skills and is proficient in verbal and written English
- Ability to take own initiatives and engage with colleagues from various teams and backgrounds with great energy.
- Ability to work independently, accurately and efficiently within agreed deadlines.
- Is service minded, analytical, pays attention to details and works in a structured manner with high quality standards.
- Is willing to take on administrative, analytical, and practical tasks (including assisting at various events)
- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with several key stakeholders and multiple projects.
- Is a team player who thrives in a collaborative work environment and shows dedication to his/her work with a willingness to learn.
The working hours are 10-20 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate studies and exams.
