Job Opening: Industrial Postdoctoral Researcher in Radiopharmaceuticals

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Radiopharmacist to join our innovative team focused on the development and clinical translation of radiopharmaceuticals for cancer diagnostics and therapy. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in radiolabeling, quality control, and preclinical imaging, who thrives in a multidisciplinary and international research environment.
The work will be performed in close collaboration with Cluster for Molecular Imaging as part of University of Copenhagen.
Key Responsibilities
- Radiolabeling with isotopes such as ¹⁸F, ⁶⁸Ga, ¹¹¹In, ¹⁶¹Tb, ¹⁷⁷Lu, 225Ac, 211At using automated and manual systems
- Development, validation and use of QC systems (iTLC, HPLC, HRMS)
- Writing SOPs and CMC dossiers for IND submissions
- Conducting stability and sterility assays
- Ensuring radiation safety and compliance with GMP standards
- Mentoring junior researchers and collaborating with technical staff
- Performing in vitro and in vivo preclinical assessments
- Image processing using PET/SPECT/CT tools
- Synthesizing and screening peptides and biomolecules
Qualifications
- PhD in Radiopharmacy, Radiochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field
- Hands-on experience in radiopharmaceutical development and clinical translation
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and GMP
- Proficiency in data analysis and scientific documentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment.

Preferred Skills & Certifications
- Animal Handling Certification
- Experience with clinical trial environments and CRO collaboration
- Hands-on experience in conducting or supporting preclinical studies involving laboratory animals
