An exciting opportunity has arisen within our team. The position is located in Espoo, Kempele could also be an option.
In this role:
- You are the key person to ensure the team succeeds to integrate the customer needs into the state-of-the-art solution - perfect for the customer’s specific clinical environment
- You will be trusted with the responsibility of running projects in compliance with requirements and regulatory needs - development is done in close cooperation with customer teams utilizing the latest technologies and in a demanding regulatory environment
- You will lead development projects, software or device, according to required standards and given processes and are responsible for planning, budgeting, team management, quality, execution, and financial control of the project
- You will be responsible for leading a highly skilled cross-functional product development team as the main contact point to report our customer projects
- You co-operate closely with other functions such as quality, sales, sourcing, and manufacturing
We expect from you:
- Experience in demanding project management and leadership tasks of development projects in electromechanical product with embedded software
- Understanding of software development processes and/or experience from leading software projects. Familiarity with software terminology, methodologies, and tools will be a valuable asset for this role
- You have a proven track record in managing and coaching agile projects and know how to use the relevant tools and practices
- Background in M.Sc. in engineering, software engineering or related technical field
- The versatile experience in product development and wide understanding and experience of different engineering competencies (software, electronics, and mechanics are highly valued in this position)
- Good communication skills in English to work with customers, project teams, and other stakeholders, especially in challenging situations
