Role and responsibilities
Zealand Pharma is currently on an incredible growth journey, and with the launch of our sustainability strategy, now is a great opportunity to be part of our growing Sustainability team. As our new Sustainability Student Assistant, you will report directly to the Head of Sustainability.
As a Sustainability Student Assistant, you will assist with various tasks to maximize our positive impact on society and deliver on our high ambitions. Your responsibilities and tasks are not pre-defined and your background and areas of expertise will factor in.
Examples of tasks include:
- Assisting in the implementation of our sustainability strategy
- Managing sustainability projects with internal and external stakeholders
- Developing materials for the board of directors and corporate management team
- Supporting the annual reporting process, including helping stakeholders obtain limited assurance on sustainability data
- Responding to investor inquiries
- Executing our climate change transition plan
- Exploring the environmental impact of our research and development activities
Candidate profile
To succeed in this role, we imagine you possess the following traits and skills:
- Project Management experience or a natural flair for managing projects and coordinating stakeholders.
- Adaptability and flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and adjust to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
- Effective Communication skills with excellent written and verbal communication to develop materials for the board of directors and corporate management team.
- Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to analyze sustainability data and generate insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Attention to detail especially when assisting with the annual reporting process and ensuring data accuracy.
- Team player and the ability to work collaboratively within a team, fostering strong relationships and contributing to shared goals.
- Passion for Sustainability and a desire to make a positive impact on society through innovative solutions.
