About the Role
In this role, you'll lead the AI development of automatic voxel segmentation and ROI detection of images and play a pivotal role in the development of our internal Python applications together with your colleagues in our development team. You'll collaborate closely with our R&D imaging team, ensuring the smooth integration and continuous improvement of automating imaging processes utilizing AI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of AI models and algorithms for imaging applications.
- Collaborate with the R&D imaging department to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Optimize and enhance the developed AI models to improve performance and accuracy.
- Conduct research and stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and imaging technologies.
- Mentor and guide other developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient code in Python.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on the developed solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience as an AI Developer, with a focus on medical imaging processing, deep learning techniques, and Python coding.
- Strong proficiency in Python and relevant libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV).
- Knowledge of DICOM.
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
On-Site Requirement:
- This position is on-site, and the successful candidate must be able to participate in on-site interviews and work at the offices in our facility in Ølstykke.
