About the Role
The Vice President, Commercial Operations will be responsible for leading and executing the commercial strategy. This role will oversee key account management, patient services, and marketing functions to ensure seamless commercialization and sustained growth. The VP will play a critical leadership role in driving cross-functional collaboration, optimizing operations, and ensuring that patients, providers, and partners receive exceptional service and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the commercial strategy to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and market dynamics.
- Drive revenue growth and market penetration through effective strategies, brand positioning, and customer engagement.
- Lead and develop the key account management (KAM) team to strengthen relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, and institutions.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and industry stakeholders.
- Oversee patient support programs, ensuring seamless patient access, reimbursement navigation, and adherence support.
- Oversee marketing strategies, branding initiatives, and promotional activities to drive product awareness and adoption.
Key Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in commercial operations, sales, or marketing within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or oncology space.
- Deep understanding of the U.S. healthcare landscape, including market access, reimbursement, and specialty distribution.
- Working knowledge of PhRMA Code on Interactions with Health Care Professionals.
- Working knowledge of laws and regulations related to the promotion of pharmaceutical products.
- Working knowledge of laws and regulations related to HIPAA.
- Working knowledge of laws and regulations related to the avoidance of healthcare fraud and abuse.
- Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional commercial teams, including key account management, patient services, distribution, and marketing.
- Strong expertise in oncology and/or rare disease markets, with a passion for improving patient outcomes.
This is a hybrid role, and the successful candidate must be able to travel throughout the US and be present in Princeton, New Jersey once a month. There will also be a requirement to travel internationally.
