We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to help spearhead Enginzyme’s growth. In short, as a growing company in the cell-free biomanufacturing field, we focus on developing new technologies where the market needs are at their highest. The easiest way to do so is by collaborating with industry players who can help bridge the gap between technology development and commercial fit.
As a company, we’re already fully committed to this business model, developing new materials and technologies together with industry-leading players. We’re developing new concepts with Fortune 500 companies in the personal care/cosmetics space, in food, and in pharma. But we’re not resting on our laurels. Instead, we’re pushing hard for new partnerships, new development programs, and new ways of bringing cell-free biomanufacturing into the daily lives of industrial players.
To help catapult this push for new developments, we’re looking for you, an experienced business developer, who has spent a few years working with developing new technologies, who knows your way around organograms to find the ideal person(s) to connect with, who is both curious and knowledgeable about the intersection of new technology development and commercialisation, and most importantly, who is able to sell.
What we offer is a fast-moving environment, a chance to really drive the development of new technologies, deploy new and innovative business models, and truly make an impact - both within Enginzyme and, by extension, the world of biotech. In doing so, you also get the chance to work with a genuinely brilliant R&D team with people from all over the world.
What we don’t offer is a strict guideline for how you are expected to reach your goal(s) - we are effectively building the airplane while in flight. And while we certainly have proven ways of working, we remain open to new ways of thinking, new ways of getting to market, to revenue, and to growth. So this is a role for you, who is open to change and moving targets, who is willing and able to set your own direction (of course, with active support from your colleagues), and who can knock down doors and sell. Together we’ll bring biology into the daily lives of many, or as we put it, “Change chemistry for good”.
We hope you’re as keen on joining us on this mission as we are on bringing you onboard.
