What does a Finance Operations Associate do at 21st.BIO?
As our new Finance Operations Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the finance function of 21st.BIO. You will work closely with our Senior Accounting Specialist to ensure that all necessary financial processes, records, and reporting are continuously updated and compliant with relevant legislation and best accounting practices.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be at the heart of our finance operations, ensuring our systems are not only compliant but also primed for growth. Working hand-in-hand with our Senior Accounting Specialist, your tasks will include;
Accounting and Financial Tasks
- Managing transactions like a pro (accounts receivable, payable, bank reconciliations).
- Keeping our financial data up-to-date and accurate.
- Tracking and chasing approvals and receipts.
Financial Controlling
- Reconcile GL accounts, suppliers, customers, and VAT.
- Taking charge of reconciliations, lease payments, and monthly closings.
- Supporting audits and ensuring flawless financial records.
Payroll Administration
- Coordinating payroll processes and ensuring accuracy in employee benefits.
Administration and Ad Hoc Tasks
- Streamlining contracts and invoices.
- Collaborating with teams to solve challenges.
- Providing support to the finance team on special projects.
What You Bring
- A background in finance/accounting (diploma or degree).
- Excel expertise (pivot tables don’t scare you).
- Eager to master Business Central (or already skilled).
