About the Job
The tasks will primarily involve experimental testing and development of sensor solutions, based on the conditions sensors are exposed to in customer applications. By building various test facilities, the durability of SulfiLogger's sensors will be increased, which includes redesigning various critical elements of the current sensor setup. The work will take place at the intersection of advanced electrochemistry and the concrete mechanical construction of the sensor, investigating how gases dissolved in liquids (e.g., water or oil) behave at varying temperatures and pressures. The tasks will be solved in close collaboration with our development team and will also involve cooperation with colleagues from our Operations team.
About You
To solve the above tasks, a scientific/engineering approach is required. The ability to search for detailed technical specifications and academic knowledge will be necessary. The ideal candidate has a Ph.D. in, for example, chemistry, physics, or nanoscience, or an engineering degree with a Ph.D. Since building the desired test setups will require considerable technical skill, a pronounced practical sense is also preferred. It would also be an advantage if you have previously worked with experimental tests involving variations in physical parameters such as pressure and temperature. Interdisciplinary skills with a focus on materials, fluid mechanics, and chemistry will be a strength.
It is important that the candidate can integrate into the existing development team and is therefore a pronounced team player. Collaboration with other professional groups comes naturally, and it is important that you generally function well socially. Additionally, it will be a requirement that you can communicate technical information in English, both in writing and orally, and be able to present the achieved results convincingly.
The candidate must be structured with their tasks and able to work carefully and thoroughly, especially during experimental work where even small details can be crucial. It is also important that the candidate can work independently and be able to plan and execute the planned tasks on their own. Likewise, the candidate must naturally ensure the technical documentation of the work.

Our growth strategy is ambitious and based on the development of new high-performance, ultra-fast, and robust microsensors used to control, regulate, and monitor industrial chemical processes. The new sensors have multiple applications and are used in PtX, biogas, and oil/gas sectors, as well as to reduce odor and corrosion problems associated with hydrogen sulfide in wastewater.
The entrepreneurial spirit is prominent at SulfiLogger, characterized by an agile and adaptive culture. SulfiLogger is known for its informal tone, short decision-making paths, and strong collaboration between people passionate about fast product cycles. We are a workplace with a high academic level, encompassing many different professional groups, such as physicists, chemists, electronics, and mechanical engineers, with 6 of the approximately 30 permanent employees holding a Ph.D. degree.
We Offer
We offer a meaningful position in our development department in Risskov, where you can clearly see your contribution to the company's business with the solutions you create.
SulfiLogger is a young start-up company with a high ceiling and great mutual respect. We all ensure a good working environment, and with us, the tone is friendly and informal. We take breaks together - for example, we have a morning break at 9:30 AM, where we enjoy breakfast and a good collegial chat. We also have a lunch arrangement that all employees are part of.
