As a global leader in medtech, MagVenture’s TMS technology is transforming treatments for severe depression, OCD, and other complex conditions. As we continue to expand into new therapeutic areas like Parkinson’s, PTSD, and dementia, we are growing our software development team, seeking both recent graduates and senior-level professionals.
The Role
As a Software Developer, you will play a key role in the development of next-generation medical devices. You will collaborate with our software team to develop user-friendly applications that control complex hardware, ensuring seamless integration and reliable device performance. Your focus will be on creating innovative solutions that support medical treatments and comply with stringent regulatory standards.
Technologies
We work with .NET technologies, including C#, WPF, ASP.NET, Blazor, Razor Pages, SQL, MariaDB. You will work on Windows or Web applications and contribute to the broader software ecosystem, which includes web services, APIs, databases, and cloud integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop new software applications
- Maintain existing systems and applications
- Work on front-end applications that controls treatment hardware
- Ensure user-friendly and intuitive UI/UX design
- Document software in compliance with medical device regulations
- Participate in testing, test automation, troubleshooting, and validation processes
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with .NET, C# and web technologies
- Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, clean code, and design patterns
- Comfortable in an agile environment, able to take initiative and adapt to evolving project needs
- Takes responsibility for tasks and works independently with minimal supervision
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, engaging effectively with stakeholders for project alignment
- Passionate about product development and empathy for users
- A collaborative spirit, thriving in teamwork and innovation
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); Danish is an advantage
- Based in the Copenhagen area with a valid work and residence permit

Nice to Have
- Familiarity with medical device standards (e.g., IEC 62304)
- Understanding of data protection and cybersecurity (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, HIPAA, GDPR)
- Experience of Scrum, Kanban or similar methodologies
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, TeamCity, Git, Azure, Figma
- Experience with writing unit tests
- Experience with CI/CD and pipelines
- Experience with test automation frameworks
- Experience with hardware integration
