About the Role:
Sophion Bioscience is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented PTA Technician to support our production team, in cooperation with our current PTA technician. In this role, you will be integral to the transition of methodologies and processes from our Research and Development (R&D) team to production.
You will be responsible for ensuring that production processes are efficient, cost-effective, and consistently deliver high-quality products.
The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with R&D and production staff to optimize protocols and implement best practices that enhance overall production efficiency while maintaining strict quality control standards.
This position requires an individual with a strong understanding of production practices and an ability to adapt experimental procedures to meet production standards.
This position is based in Ballerup. .
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with R&D to facilitate the transfer of methodologies to production, ensuring that all processes meet established quality and compliance standards.
- Assist in the development, optimization, and standardization of procedures and protocols for enhanced efficiency in production.
- Monitor and analyze production processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and quality.
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of PTA equipment to ensure optimal operation and reliability.
- Support quality assurance activities by maintaining accurate records and documentation as required by regulatory standards.
- Train production staff on new techniques and protocols, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and adherence to best practices.
- Participate in troubleshooting production issues, providing solutions that align with quality and efficiency objectives.
- Maintain a clean and organized production environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Provide assistance to supply chain during audit of external suppliers.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electronic engineering or a related field.
- Experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with PTA or patch clamp techniques is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Required: Comprehensive knowledge of complex electromechanical product production.
- Experience with robots and advanced electronics is a plus.
