About the Role
The Head of IT will play a critical role in leading the technology strategy and IT operations across the company (both in the US and Denmark). This role will oversee all aspects of information technology, ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure, cybersecurity, commercial and research IT operations, systems implementation, driving efficiencies across platforms and systems, and ensure effective vendor relations to support the business in delivering on its objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver an IT strategy aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including infrastructure, networks, security, and applications. Ensure that the IT solutions are fit for purpose and align with the corporate strategy and framework of the overall organization for the next 3+ years.
- Collaborate with leadership to determine a technology roadmap and propose solutions to enhance and support the business.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of all IT systems to support critical operations.
- Implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Monitor emerging technologies/programs and trends relevant to Y-mAbs and propose technology solutions that drive business growth and improve productivity.
- Develop and implement robust cybersecurity processes and protective measures for all infrastructure, systems, sensitive data, intellectual property, and research.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, GXP, NIS2, HIPAA, etc.) and data security industry standards.
- Manage all system validation, both GxP and Non-GxP, in accordance with standards, e.g., GAMP5, 21 CFR Part 11, and EU Annex 11.
- Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and consultants to manage the Y-mAbs technology stack, products, and services and ensure the fulfillment of service-level agreements.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
- Proven experience (15+ years) in IT management roles within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, with a strong understanding of international commercial, scientific, clinical, and laboratory operations.
- Significant computer system validation experience in the US and EU.
- Significant leadership experience in developing and implementing IT strategies that align with business goals and meet regulatory requirements.
- Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems integration, cybersecurity, and data management in a regulated environment.
This is a hybrid role, and the successful candidate must be able to commute between Nutley & Princeton, New Jersey. This role will also require travel to Denmark.
Compensation
This role's target annual pay range is $180,000-$220,000. Actual pay will vary depending on various factors, including relevant experience, education, skills, and market factors. The compensation range listed is just one component of Y-mAbs’s total compensation package for employees, which, depending on the position, may also include company-sponsored benefits, discretionary incentive compensation, and long-term incentives.
