The Job
As a Software Quality Assurance and Support Engineer, your primary responsibilities will encompass ensuring the highest quality standards and providing essential support for our software application. This application is instrumental in various functions including:
- Patient data management and scanning mode selections.
- Scanner control, including field of view and image quality.
- Scan data acquisition and storage.
- Image processing (2D- and 3D reconstruction) and display.
Our customers regularly use these systems in their daily operations, and your role is crucial in maintaining and enhancing their experience.
In your role, you will be an integral part of an agile SCRUM team, where your insights and skills in quality assurance and customer support help shape future product development.

Your Profile
The ideal candidate will possess most of the following qualifications:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in a technical or healthcare field.
- Some experience with professional software development and testing methodologies.
- Experience with mixed technology products (Hardware/software).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills – English and perhaps French or German at business level, and generally you are comfortable in an international atmosphere.
- Excellent at creating and maintaining cross-functional working relationships.
- Familiarity with the main standards governing medical device development and production, including ISO 13485/14971, 62304, and 60601 is considered an advantage but not required.
Most importantly, you are passionate about providing high-quality and innovative solutions, and enthusiastic about the possibility of working with skilled colleagues across the organization to influence the future of dental imaging.
