Reporting to the R&D manager, your tasks will be highly diversified and will include:
- Define, describe, and design electronics of new and existing products
- Identify and integrate electronic modules into systems
- Analyze malfunctions or handle part replacements or re-designs
- Verify designs and design integrations to raise product quality
- Be an active part of the R&D team on development projects and support existing products
- Write and review Software
- Prepare required documents due to regulatory and quality measurement required for medical devices
Candidate profile:
Your qualifications should include a technical background with a preference for system analysis or technical exposure, preferably including:
- An engineering degree or equivalent work experience required
- Experienced with electronics circuit and PCB layout design
- Experienced with firmware development in C/C++
- Handling the PCB and electronics supply chain (ordering, BOM’s, documentation)
- Experienced with Design for Electrical Safety and EMC testing
- Excellent technical oral and written skills in English
Furthermore, the ideal candidate would have experience with
- IEC 60601 and ISO 13485 standards
- Digital communication standards such as USB, CAN Bus, SPI, …
- Lasers and Optics ERP systems (NAV)
- User interfaces
- Making test setups for HW and SW verification and validation
- Experience with Altium Designer
