As we continue to expand our R&D pipeline, we are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with a passion for drug discovery project leadership.
As part of the Discovery Project Management team in Gubra’s Biotech unit, you will lead multidisciplinary drug discovery projects from hit generation to Development Candidate selection. Working closely with scientists and cross-functional partners, you will facilitate robust decision-making, create alignment across disciplines, and help transform scientific insights into differentiated drug candidates. As projects mature, you will play an important role in ensuring a seamless transition from Discovery into early Development.

How you will create impact
- Play a key role in advancing Gubra’s pipeline by leading drug discovery projects, delivering high-quality development candidates, and supporting their seamless transition into early Development.
- Drive project strategy and momentum by facilitating robust scientific decisions and maintaining progress across key scientific and governance milestones.
- Identify and mitigate scientific, technical, operational, and competitive risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Strengthen project value through competitive differentiation and collaboration with Business Development & Ventures to monitor the external landscape.
- Create alignment across scientific disciplines and key stakeholders while contributing to the continued evolution of Gubra's Discovery Project leadership practices.

Your profile
You enjoy bringing people together around ambitious scientific and strategic goals and thrive where science, collaboration, and entrepreneurship intersect. You combine scientific curiosity with strategic thinking and naturally create clarity in complex projects.
Your background
- A PhD in life sciences or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least five years of relevant experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, including hands-on leadership of drug discovery projects.
- A strong understanding of drug discovery workflows, from hit generation through development candidate selection; experience within peptide drug discovery is considered an advantage.
- An adaptable and collaborative mindset, with the ability to thrive in a growing biotech environment where priorities may evolve.
- An understanding of early drug development, including CTA/IND-enabling activities, is considered an advantage.
- Scientific expertise within age-related functional decline (e.g. sarcopenia/muscle biology), immunology & inflammation, or related therapeutic areas is considered an advantage.
