TetraKit Technologies is a biotech startup developing next-generation radiopharmaceuticals for cancer treatment and diagnosis. As we grow, our financial administration, projects, partnerships and publicly funded activities are becoming more complex. We are therefore looking for a structured, proactive and hands-on colleague who can take ownership of our day-to-day finance operations and help strengthen our administrative and operational processes.
This role combines elements of bookkeeping and general administration. As part of a compact and agile startup team, you will also support travel, supplier relationships, grants, operational projects and the practical tasks that keep the company moving. Your primary responsibility will be finance and financial operations, but you will also contribute across the business where needed.
Main responsibilities:
Finance and bookkeeping
- Coordinate bookkeeping, supplier invoices, payments and employee expenses
- Maintain an overview of accounts payable and financial follow-up
- Work closely with Management, external bookkeeper, accountant and auditors
- Coordinate routine financial and administrative matters with relevant Danish authorities and external advisers
- Support VAT reporting, statutory filings and the preparation of required documentation
- Support quarterly and annual closing activities
- Help improve and maintain internal approval and payment processes
Grant/soft-funding:
- Support financial reporting for grants and publicly funded projects
- Track project costs, travel expenses, invoices and supporting documentation
- Support project owners with budgets, administrative follow-up, documentation and reporting deadlines
- Help prepare for company audits and soft-funding audits
Expense management
- Improve the flow for company cards, receipts, expenses and approvals
- Identify inefficient processes and suggest practical improvements
- Support the implementation and use of relevant systems and tools
Travel and administration
- Book flights, accommodation and other business travel
- Support conference registrations and meeting logistics
- Ensure travel invoices and expenses are handled correctly
- Assist with suppliers, subscriptions, onboarding and general office administration
We are looking for someone who can own the operational side of finance and coordinate effectively with specialists. You create structure, follow up consistently and make sure things get done. Invoices, payments and expenses move through a clear and efficient process. Grant and project documentation is maintained throughout the year rather than collected at the last minute. Audits and reporting become easier to manage, colleagues understand what is expected of them, and management has a clear overview of deadlines, approvals and outstanding actions. Most importantly, you become a trusted operational partner across the company.
Who we are looking for:
- Relevant education in finance, accounting or business administration is an advantage, but practical experience matters most
- Have experience with bookkeeping, accounting, finance operations or a similar role
- Understand the basic flow from purchase and invoice to payment, bookkeeping and reporting
- Are comfortable working with expenses, spreadsheets and financial documentation
- Are highly organized and able to manage several deadlines at once
- Take ownership and follow tasks through to completion
- Communicate clearly and are comfortable reminding colleagues when information is missing
- Enjoy creating structure and improving processes
- Are comfortable in a small company where priorities can change quickly
- Are fluent in written and spoken English
- Are able to understand written Danish is a plus
- Have experience with bookkeeping or finance systems; experience with e-conomic, Pleo, VAT reporting, e-grant or payroll administration is an advantage
- Are comfortable communicating with external advisers, suppliers and public authorities
- Know when to handle a matter independently and when to involve management or an external adviser
- Experience with grants, audits or publicly funded projects is an advantage
What we offer:
- A central role in a growing Danish biotech startup
- Broad responsibility and process ownership
- The opportunity to build and improve processes
- Close collaboration with management and highly specialized scientific teams
- An informal environment with short decision-making paths
- Exposure to international partnerships and advanced cancer-treatment development
- A varied role where no two weeks are exactly the same
- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience
- Flexible working arrangements where practical
