At Heyra, we build AI systems, workflows and data platforms that are meant to live in production from day one. We work closely with companies that are moving quickly and need solutions that hold up under real conditions.
We're looking for an AI Engineer who is as comfortable in the code as in the architecture. Someone who can design, build and ship AI solutions today, and gradually take ownership of how we approach AI architecture and strategy as the company grows.
You'll work closely with engineers, data specialists, strategists and designers in a company where ideas move quickly and the distance from thinking to building is intentionally small.
What you'll work on
- Designing and deploying AI solutions across domains like finance, operations and supply chain
- Building predictive models, automated workflows and agentic systems
- Leading client projects from problem to production
- Translating business needs into AI solutions that actually ship
- Integrating scalable AI systems through APIs and cloud environments
- Mentoring teammates and shaping how Heyra approaches AI
You probably have experience with
- Software development, ML or data engineering, with AI applications running in production
- AI and GenAI frameworks, ideally with some MLOps and evals exposure
- Building scalable systems in cloud environments like Azure or GCP
- Coding with agents such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor
- Stakeholder management and leading delivery end to end
