The company
At oasicare, we developing solutions that enhance the standard of care for women. Our company mission is to protect 3 million women against perineal tears annually by 2030. Our first product is a single-unit device designed to protect the perineum during the second stage of vaginal childbirth, which is marketed as a class I medical device.
The position
oasicare is building clinical and scientific leadership in women’s afterbirth and postpartum care. The Clinical & Medical Affairs Lead will own the translation of clinical studies, scientific literature, hospital collaborations, and product evidence into credible scientific publications, clinical education, internal knowledge, and external stakeholder communication.
This person will be oasicare’s internal clinical authority and the company’s key bridge between clinical investigators, OB/GYNs, midwives, R&D, regulatory, and commercial teams. This person contributes to key medical and scientific affairs initiatives, including fostering and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), participating in scientific advisory boards, spearheading scientific and clinical studies, and providing of field-based medical insights to internal teams.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Formulate oasicare’s clinical strategy in cooperation with management
- Execute and own oasicare’s clinical strategy.
- Build oasicare’s internal clinical knowledge bank on women’s afterbirth/postpartum care, including existing literature, clinical claims, stakeholder questions, terminology, and scientific rationale.
- Own, produce and disseminate scientific publications: manuscripts, abstracts, posters, conference presentations, white papers, and peer-reviewed publications.
- Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to create clinically credible materials for hospitals, OB/GYNs, midwives, partners, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Support the development and implementation of strategic education and training plans for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with the execution and ongoing support of clinical research studies and scientific initiatives.
- Act as a scientific authority and engage in high-quality scientific exchange in OB/GYNs, gynecologists, midwives, clinical investigators, and other women’s health stakeholders.
- Collaborate with R&D, regulatory, and QA teams to translate clinical insights into product development, evidence generation, clinical claims, and scientific rationale.
Required qualifications
- MSc, PhD, MD, midwife, nurse-scientist, clinical researcher, or equivalent background in a relevant health/science field.
- Experience with clinical research, medical writing, clinical evidence, or medical affairs.
- Proven track-record in scientific writing.
- Familiarity with women’s health, maternal health, obstetrics, gynecology, midwifery, or postpartum care.
- Ability to engage clinical stakeholders and translate evidence into clear internal and external communication.
- Excellent English communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Preferred qualification
- PhD, MD, or documented publication record.
- Direct experience with postpartum care, obstetrics, gynecology, pelvic health, maternal recovery, maternity wards, or midwifery.
- Experience in medical devices, MedTech, HealthTech, or regulated healthcare products.
- Knowledge of MDR, ISO 14155, GCP, clinical evaluation, PMCF, or claims substantiation.
- Experience working with hospitals and clinical investigators.
- Danish language skills.
- Experience creating conference presentations, white papers, clinical education material, or stakeholder-facing scientific content.
