Would you like to help ensure a robust and secure IT infrastructure in an ambitious, research-driven company?
At Gubra, we are looking for an experienced and committed IT Administrator with a strong focus on operations, security and system optimisation. You will be a key part of our IT team in Hørsholm, responsible for maintaining and developing our technical foundation. Gubra is moving towards a more hybrid setup, where cloud services and on-premises infrastructure work side by side. Strong cloud knowledge, together with solid on-premises experience, is therefore essential—and the ability to navigate confidently between the two environments is critical. We value your curiosity for new technology, your desire to continuously broaden your knowledge, and your ability to take initiative to troubleshoot and find solutions independently.
Your primary responsibilities
As an IT Administrator, you will work with the operation and development of Gubra’s IT platforms and help ensure high availability, data security and efficient systems administration. You will, among other things and be responsible for:
- Maintenance and monitoring of our on-premises servers (primarily Linux, plus a small number of Windows Servers), networks and client environments
- Driving future cloud migrations, including planning, coordination and hands-on execution in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Identity, access and permissions management across a hybrid environment (Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, Microsoft 365 and Linux)
- Documentation of systems and processes, including technical guides and compliance requirements
- Implementation and administration of security solutions and access controls
- Participation in technical projects and continuous improvement of the IT infrastructure
You will work with modern technologies and tools, including Microsoft 365, Linux, SharePoint, Intune, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and various open-source systems, and you will have the opportunity to influence both architecture and processes.
We imagine you have:
- Hands-on cloud experience is required: Microsoft Azure. AWS knowledge is a strong advantage and expected to become relevant as part of the roadmap; relevant cloud certification is a plus
- A relevant IT qualification or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with networking, endpoint management and security solutions
- Good communication skills in both Danish and English
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of your areas of responsibility
- Strong on-premises Linux server administration experience, plus working knowledge of Windows Server
- Experience working with open-source systems
You will get:
- Working days with significant influence on processes and quality
- We are the team that navigate with 1st line support to systems administration
- Collaboration with stakeholders and can act as a technical driver for change – including planning and delivering future cloud migrations
- An environment shaped by an entrepreneurial culture, pace and strong professional expertise
- Opportunities to develop both professionally and personally
- Skilled colleagues who are passionate about collaboration, excellence, and great solutions
Why Gubra:
- With us, you will become part of a dedicated and supportive IT team where we pull together and have ambitions for both professionalism and wellbeing
- Gubra is a growth company with a strong culture where innovation and wellbeing go hand in hand. You will have opportunities for professional development and to take part in internal projects that strengthen both your skills and Gubra’s IT setup

About Gubra
Gubra is an ambitious contract research organisation (CRO) and biotech company striving for excellence at all levels. We insist on doing things efficiently – and often differently - to reach the results we aim for. Our vision is to become leaders in the fight for a more sustainable and healthier world. We do that by facilitating the discovery of new medicine, and by acting and inspiring others to fight the ongoing climate and biodiversity crises.
Gubra’s activities are focused on the early stages of drug development and are organised in two highly synergistic business areas: CRO Services and Discovery & Partnerships (D&P). We generate our revenue by performing research for life science companies as well as by partnering projects from our discovery and development pipeline.
Our therapeutic focus is within metabolic and fibrotic diseases, and we specialize in in vivo pharmacology, ex vivo assays, drug profiling, histology, stereology and whole brain and organ imaging. In addition, we offer a full palette of advanced transcriptomics. Our ML/AI-driven peptide drug discovery platform streaMLine enables us to rapidly develop a peptide hit into a non-clinical candidate ready for development. Through a constant focus on high quality, scientific excellence, speed, and solid teamwork we have established ourselves as a highly professional and competent partner in the market.
People are our greatest asset, and our team consists of around 300 employees. The mix of people from different cultures and educational backgrounds combined with our entrepreneurial mindset have greatly impacted our working environment, which is characterized by entrepreneurial drive, scientific curiosity, and teamwork – we join forces!
