Currently, we are looking for a new HEOR and RWE Director with extensive experience within Real World Evidence generation and HTA engagements and who enjoys working on strategic projects on a global scale. As HEOR and RWE Director within our Medical Affairs team you will play a crucial role driving integrated evidence generation to meet the needs of all our key stakeholders, including patients, HCPS, payers and regulators. Medical Affairs aims to lead Zealand in achieving scientific leadership, being a great place to work, and keeping patients at the core of everything we do.
We are a medium-sized biotech with a short chain of command. Currently a team of 16 reporting to the Head of Medical Affairs and 2 focused on HEOR & RWE and so we are looking for the right colleague to add additional competencies within HEOR and RWE to the team.
Key responsibilities
- Cross-functional development of strategic Integrated Evidence Planning
- Lead the development and execution of key HEOR and RWE projects across the Zealand Pharma pipeline
- Responsible for all aspects of effective project management, including RFP development, selection of research partners, contract execution, budget planning, protocol design, analytic plan development, oversight of data collection/acquisition, data analysis, etc.
- Develop and manage research communication material and publications
- Drive innovation in HEOR/RWE tools and optimize ways of working
- Provide internal training on HEOR/RWE methodologies
Candidate profile
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry or consulting experience
- Demonstrated expertise in Real World Evidence generation, eg. non-interventional studies, claims data studies, health outcomes research, economic analyses, patient-reported outcomes (PROs), prospective and retrospective observational research, preferably on a global scale
- Experience with HTA evaluations, including the ability to analyze and interpret complex data
- A proven ability to translate clinical data and other benefits into evidence-based arguments and deliverables
- Demonstrated record of peer-reviewed scientific publications and customer facing tools
- A Master’s Degree preferably within life science, economics, epidemiology or equivalent background
