What you'll be doing
As Junior Key Account Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day operations with key customers in the mass market channel. You'll be trusted with real responsibility from day one, supporting sales growth, profitability, and account performance.
Here's how you'll make an impact:
- Manage and grow selected customer accounts, acting as their main point of contact
- Lead and support commercial negotiations and campaign planning
- Monitor KPIs, optimize product assortment, and drive promotions in line with strategy
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, category, and supply teams
- Analyze sales performance and campaign ROI to inform decisions
- Own the P&L for your accounts and contribute to long- and short-term customer strategies
- Build the skills needed to gradually take ownership of larger, strategic accounts
Requirements
You're a commercially driven, analytical self-starter with a hunger to learn and grow. You love working in fast-paced, hands-on environments, and you're not afraid to take ownership.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or similar
- 1-3 years' experience in sales, account management or B2B roles—preferably within FMCG, retail, or pharma
- A strong commercial mindset with analytical capabilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Norwegian and English
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with promotions or forecasting tools is a plus
