About Commit Biologics
Commit Biologics is a newly established biotech company with proprietary technology for applying the complement system for treatment of serious diseases. We are an experienced team of scientists and business developers with the vision to build the leading complement therapeutics company. Our bi-specific complement engager (BICE) technology engages C1q to effectively activate the complement system and specifically kill disease associated cells.
The position
We are seeking a laboratory technician to join our R&D lab in Aarhus who wants to take part in building-up our lab facilities as well as planning and running experiments. You are a creative, result-oriented and organized person who thrives in a highly dynamic environment that characterizes a biotech start-up. You will be interacting with people across the whole organization and contribute to the daily maintenance and operations of our research facilities.
Qualifications:
- You hold a degree as Bachelor of Science, Laboratory Technician, Bioanalyst or similar.
- You have experience with protein expression and purification
- You have experience in transfecting and maintaining mammalian cell cultures
- Interested in working in an interdisciplinary and international environment, where speaking and writing in English is part of everyday life.
- Experience with planning and execution of experiments in an independent manner, analyzing and reporting results.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining lab facilities and our mammalian cell cultures
- Expressing and purifying antibodies
- Execute experimental plans, analyze experimental data, maintain experimental results in relevant databases.
- Collaborate within and across teams such as protein production, cell assay and in vivo team.
- Prepare, review and complete experimental reports and protocols/SOPs
In addition, you will shape Commit Biologics together with us to establish a professional and cutting-edge immune therapy company.

The position is a maternity cover and is therefore limited in duration until July 1, 2026, With a start date as soon as possible, and the possibility of extension. The position is located in Aarhus, Denmark.
