Student Assistant to support the Communication Team - BioInnovation Institute

The BioInnovation Institute Foundation (BII) is an international non-profit foundation supported by the Novo Nordisk Foundation. Among other things, BII operates as an incubator to accelerate world-class life science innovation, driving the development of new solutions by early-stage life science start-ups for the benefit of people and society.
The Job
The Communication team at BII is looking for a proactive and engaged Student Assistant to support the team within a wide range of strategic communication and public affairs tasks, including:
- Supporting the Communication team, with general ad hoc administrative tasks, including assistance with PowerPoint presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Help prepare for larger events at BII and delegations visiting our facilities.
- Write short news articles to our intranet, our website, or social media channels.
- Support the Communication with coordination and facilitation of cross-organizational tasks.
Professional and Personal Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Is a 2nd or 3rd-year Bachelor's student or has just started an MSc in Business Administration, Communications, General Management or similar.
- Has strong communication skills and is proficient in verbal and written English.
- Is a super-user in the MS Office package, particularly in PowerPoint, with a strong visual design sense, capable of creating professional slides or graphics.
- Is a team player, proactive, energetic, can come up with new ideas, and can effectively collaborate with colleagues from diverse teams and backgrounds across our team and organization.
- Is service-minded, analytical, pays attention to details, honors deadlines, and works in a structured manner with high-quality standards.
- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple key stakeholders and several projects in parallel.
The working hours are 10-20 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate studies and exams. You will become part of a fast-paced but tight-knit team of experienced and driven communication advisors, covering everything from PR, social media, web site, events, public affairs and internal communication.
