Job Purpose
This role is for a pharmacologist at the senior scientist of principal scientist level. This position will join a team of fellow scientists helping to push forward new therapeutics from basic concepts to IND-ready pharmaceuticals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, manage and interpret PK/PD studies in rodent and non-rodent models
- Design, manage and interpret radiopharmaceutical pharmacology studies
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely records of samples, experiments and results
- Work with NJ and DK based scientists to review, analyze and interpret results
- Support in lab operations: ordering, shipping and receiving
Position Requirements:
- Doctorate in Biology/Chemistry/Biochemistry (or similar)
- 2+ years postdoctoral experience
- 3+ years’ experience with in vivo pharmacology studies in rodent systems (non-rodent systems a plus).
- 3+ years’ experience with radiopharmaceuticals
- Experience with PET and SPECT animal imaging and isotopes
- Experience with xenograft tumor models
- Experience with PK and biodistribution studies in animal models
- Experience managing external CROs
- Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate complex ideas and datasets in presentations and formal reports
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross function teams, meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects
