Are you passionate about technology and love helping people? Zealand Pharma is on the lookout for a friendly and skilled Service Desk Analyst to join our team and provide top-notch IT support to our end-users.
As a Service Desk Analyst, you will report to the Senior Director, IT Infrastructure and Operations and you'll be one of the go-to persons for IT support, working closely with our global IT team to ensure everyone has the best IT experience.
This role is primarily based in our Søborg office.
Roles and responsibilities
- Be our IT hero that provides primarily on-site support for computers, phones, and other tech equipment.
- Troubleshoot everything from laptops, printers, mobile devices, software to networking and more with quick, thoroughly problem-solving.
- Manage PC inventory and build/image/deploy new hire desks with computer and other equipment as needed.
- Keep our documentation and guides clear, organized, and up-to-date.
- Constantly strive to improve our working processes and procedures.
- Coordination of on-site repairs of warranty and non-warranty hardware.
- Recommend upgrades or repairs, and escalate issues to other IT staff when necessary.
- Take ownership of technical problems, ask the right questions, understand your users, and resolve issues promptly and satisfactorily.
- Escalate tickets to Tier II/III teams and third-party service providers when needed.
- Provide basic advice and assist with user training and onboarding/offboarding.
Requirements
- Strong experience in a helpdesk environment with a ticketing system.
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal - you can explain technical concepts in a way anyone can understand.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across a variety of products and systems.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft products, including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Microsoft Office, and Windows 10/11.
- Familiarity with audio-visual systems like Polycom and Microsoft Teams devices.
- Hands-on experience with basic network protocols and services (IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Capable of working on a global team and reporting to a leader in the United States.
- A self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.
- A genuine curiosity about technology and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in pharma/biotech, especially with growing companies would be useful.
- Experience with mobile devices (Apple, Android, iPads) and Intune MAM/MDM is a plus.
