Head of IT

Symphogen is a dynamic and innovative company dedicated to advancing healthcare through advanced biotechnology solutions. In 2020, Symphogen became part of the Servier Group as their Antibody Center of Excellence, and we use an efficient antibody platform for research and early development of antibodies for cancer and immuno-inflammatory treatments.

As Head of IT you will join an international company, and you will be the IT liaison between Symphogen and the French IT organization in the Servier Group.

Symphogen is made up of passionate researchers and professionals committed to pushing the boundaries of antibody therapy. We are approx. 150 employees, half of whom have a PhD or a master's degree. Eight out of ten are involved in research and development.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Head of IT. As Head of IT, you will have an important role in leading our IT department with reference to Symphogen's CEO.

Responsibility:

Your areas of responsibility will include;

• Managerial responsibility for the IT department
• Establish and develop a close collaboration with Servier Group that identifies and ensures utilization of IT potential and opportunities.
• Develop and implement plans for the IT department that ensure compliance with the overall business and IT strategy for Servier Group.
• Monitor the IT budget and ensure efficient allocation of financial resources.
• Lead and monitor IT projects from concept to implementation and ensure that they are completed on time and within budget. Including ERP roll-ins from Servier Group IT.
• Manage relationships with software and hardware suppliers, service providers, and other external partners.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality IT services to the organization, including help desk support, application support, and user training.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and standards, data protection and industry-specific requirements.
• Stay informed about new technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and see opportunities in the organization and the IT set-up.

Your qualifications:

• You have experience from a similar position, preferably within Pharma, Biotech or other areas where GRC and GxP play an important role.
• You have a relevant IT background, and over the years have built up technical skills with practical experience with IT tasks.
• You are good at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This is important, as you will work closely with stakeholders in the Danish business and in Servier's French IT organization. You also have excellent oral and written communication skills in Danish and English.
• Your leadership skills are solid, and you can inspire and guide employees. You have experience with IT project management and the ability to run projects from start to finish.
• You have a pragmatic approach and can challenge existing IT solutions, as well as lead and manage changes in an organization.
