As Head of CMC & Development, you'll bring your expertise into regulatory CMC, product development, process innovation, regulatory strategy, and team leadership to drive strategic initiatives and navigate complex challenges. You'll be at the core of our transformation - driving value across a global product portfolio while shaping future capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute changes to data and documentation of existing products in our global portfolio, driving continuous improvement and ensuring long-term business continuity
- Drive regulatory excellence in the CMC aspects of our portfolio including driving development according to regulatory intelligence and fostering an environment of fruitful collaboration with Health Authorities
- Provide leadership, strategy and execution in technical transfers, API development, and product development to create value and accelerate our projects
- Innovate across pharmaceutical development, from products and processes to regulatory strategies and team development
- Leverage your strong commercial acumen to guide operational and tactical planning, balancing regulatory requirements with business objectives
- Ensure clear communication and cross-functional alignment to support Karos' vision and ensure seamless execution of complex projects
- Inspire, grow, and develop a high-performing team, embedding a culture of accountability, compliance, and innovation
Requirements
- Proven leadership in pharmaceutical development and CMC, with a track record of driving innovation and operational success in product and process development
- Expertise in regulatory strategies and navigating complex regulatory frameworks, ensuring compliance and business agility
- Strong commercial understanding, with the ability to balance operational, technical, and regulatory needs to meet business objectives
- Exceptional team leadership and mentoring abilities, with a passion for developing talent and fostering collaboration
- A forward-thinking, innovative mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement and business growth as well as functional development to lead the team through changes and develop the capabilities and responsibilities as karo grows
- Preferably knowledge within other regulatory fields such as medical device and/or general understanding of formulation development and regulatory navigation of other classifications
